nice pint of local bitter, but definitely a restaurant with a bar, not a pub.

The Plough, Little London

this pub could be something special - characterful building, attractive countryside, exciting forest drive to find it, 2 barrels on gravity dispense - and yet...
the landlord's apparent disdain for non-regulars, no beers above 4.2%, no local ales, no dark ales... ultimately neither a friendly place nor especially interesting to drinkers. a disappointment.
