Some recent minor enhancements have only served to improve this wonderful pub whilst maintaining its charactor. Home-cooked food is superb quality & value, and the ales are well kept. Dogs are allowed which I dont agree with in a pub.

Wonderful, wonderful, wonderful! A real classic pub, really cheap food and fantastic ales. Not changed in 40 years I bet. Just dont bring in your mobile phone!
