The Red Lion, Goostrey

3rd Leg of Anorak Tour 2009 and pub is a brisk 10 walk from Station (8 to 10 minutes). Good selection of beers to try (we chose Black Sheep) which was ok but not special. Pool table and darts for the sports minded and good selection of music on the jukebox as well as pinball and quiz and slot machine. Live music on the Friday night which we didn't stop for as train schedule didn't allow

The Old Red Lion, Holmes Chapel

Second leg of Anorak Tour 2009 and pub is 5 minute walk from Station. Had 1 pint of lager and 4 pints of Timothy Taylor Landlord but general opinion was that they were inferior to those drunk in the Fox Inn.

Fox Inn, Elworth

First port of call on Anorak 2009 tour on Friday 21st August. Arrived by bus from Winsford on time. Our group had 2 pints of Timoth Taylor Landlord, 1 pint of Bombadier and 2 pints of Carling Extra Cold which were all very enjoyable. Left pub to catch train to Holmes Chapel
