The Waggon and Horses, Hartley Wintney

Had a superb pint of Black Cat mild this evening, this pub seems to be going from strength to strength, local area camra pub of the year and fautless today. Five beers to choose from plus a scrumpy. 10/10 today.

Is starfish able to recognise a real pub? I was there on the day of the review and i must say the beer was fine,if the best is not to your liking theres always a choice of three others,as for the food and credit issue ,its a pub not a resturaunt and thank god for that.

The Waggon and Horses, Hartley Wintney

Delighted to find the addition of an extra guest beer now in place.
Old Tongham Tasty from Hogs Back and the excellent Dark Star Hophead were on with the regular Courage Best and Gales HSB.Good news for beer drinkers.

The Nags Head, Belgravia

Best pub in Belgravia by far, full of curios and bric-a-brac. I have never found the landlord or barstaff to be rude, quite the opposite in fact. The only downside in my view is lack of beer choice,Adnams not being my favorite, well kept all the same. As for the mobile phone ban,if you cant spend a couple of hours without one, what a sad way to live.

The Waggon and Horses, Hartley Wintney

Called in recently, its nice to have a drink in a real pub. Good pint of hsb, friendly bar staff and friendly customers. I remember many years ago when this village had quite a few pubs but is now down to just three, this one along with the lamb and the cricketers. The waggon and horses is the best by far.

The Prince of Wales, Farnborough

Visited recently, a decent pub with (for the area) a vast range of beers, had a nice dark star hophead . It was rather quiet but it was an early weekday lunchtime. Well worth a visit.

The Pride of Spitalfields, Shoreditch

Top little eastend boozer near brick lane good pint of brewers gold. Must visit pubs like this while they still survive , to many have disappeared over the years

The Market Porter, Borough

Splendid pub next to the market gets very busy but worth the effort to sample the fine array of beers.
