The Crown, Uxbridge

Linda has gone and so has a young manager called Glen. Now the restaurant manager, lily has taken over and certainly took the crown by the horns and is turning this little gem around. The food is already of high quality with the Ales following on nicely.
Apart from London pride, the two other ales have become changing guests with a local one aswell. Occasional live music and a Tuesday night quiz and with fantastic food available every day, I just wish I lived nearer.

Flynn's, Hayes End

This ever changing pub is now called Ye Olde Crowne , and what a change. Taken over by Gary ( of the Brook house, just up the road) has turned Ye Olde Crowne into an Irish steak house of which the quality of the food won't be bettered for miles around. The pub has two ales, London Pride and Caledonians Flying Scotsman, both of high quality. Brendan, the manager, intends to get a third ale, and is going to get involved with up coming cask ale week and will be having a beer festival in the near future.

The Crown, Uxbridge

its so good to see this pub on the up. Linda, the new manager, is trying so hard (and succeeding) in getting the ales to taste so good. She has three on the go nearly all the time. And just a note to say the food is going in the right direction as well.

The Royal Marine, Lyne

2.50 for a pint of lime & soda are they having a laugh. Lovely little pub.
good food (taking a risk not doing chips).
great beer 4 real ales, only a little bit dearer than the lime & soda.

The Blue Anchor, Helston

wonderful pub, a good local and friendly to visitors. well worth going out of your way if you're anywhere in Cornwall. If only Spingo were a national brew.
