The Cod and Lobster, Staithes

As previously mentioned, this has the best location around and very friendly staff. Only 3 Ales on when visiting in August. I had the Old Jacks Tipple, so named after the CBeebies show filmed here, and if its good enough for Bernard Cribbens then its definately fine by me. Also ate here twice, a word of warning on the Fish and Chips, it's HUGE ! My wife shared hers with our daughter.

The Blueberry, Norwich

Started to use this pub more and more, now that the live music is back and when i last popped in they had 4 real ales on.
A major improvement on the last management, it even smells and looks clean now !!
Definately worth going in on music nights !!

The Blueberry, Norwich

Recently taken over by a manager that has an interest in ALL live music. Now serving 3 Real Ales, all local and a handpull cider to come in the new year. Give it a try now that the dodgy clientele has been moved on !!

Coles, Norwich

Now Closed !!
No surprise as they only seemed to open when they felt like it, Waiting to see what it turns into now.

The Rivergarden, Thorpe St Andrew

hideous marquee now covers the garden and although there were only 10 people having a BBQ we were told that there was no food as it was to busy for the chefs. ~Understand it has had a bmanagement change in the last year but definately not for the better

The Shed, Norwich

Now renamed The Shed and run by Colin of The Fat Cat fame. Just opening it's own brewery and a must for all real ale fans.

Western, Leicester

As i have family in leicester, this is the local for us. Good ales (normally) but crowded whenever the Tigers or Foxes are at home.

The Rivergarden, Thorpe St Andrew

previously the Kings Head, renamed in 2000. emphasis on food but serves a range of drinks including 2 real ales and 2 white beers. Huge hidden garden behind the pub. Good stop off point for the football ground being only 20 mins walk away.

The Office, Norwich

After 5 years it's now closed. Soon to reopen as a Pitcher and Piano, apparently another yuppie bar. Just what Norwich needs
