The Oddfellows Arms, Nantwich

Off the beaten track, but worth the walk out of the town centre. Good clientele, charismatic landlord and good quality ale. Didn't eat but food looked wholesome and tasty.

The Black Lion, Nantwich

I tried the Cheshire Cat as it was recommended to me by a fellow customer. It was a nice pint in a quaint traditional pub. wooden floorboards and open fire, locals were relaxed and welcoming. Lady behind the bar didn't want to be there though, and it showed.

The Crown Hotel, Nantwich

4 pumps serving a good selection of beers. They have 2 local beers, a national, and a smaller brewery on offer. Tried a woodlands and a rudgate mild. Both were fantastic and well conditioned. decor is olde worlde stylish, and the barman was very welcoming. Well worth a visit.

The Wilbraham Arms, Nantwich

Good spacious setup, with a lovely pint of Doom Bar that was well kept, locals were friendly and the barman (Biff?) was a character. Football was on the big screen so was a bit crowded for my liking but not enough to put me off. would visit again.

The Boot & Shoe, Nantwich

This pub came highly recommended. Staff were superb. Food was plentiful but the beer was average. I had a passable pint of Landlord, but the bombardier tasted sour. would have liked to see more micros represented

The Vine Inn, Nantwich

Good vibe about this pub. Real fire, real ale (Hydes), real people.
Had a pint of hydes, which to be fair isn't my favourite beer, but it was well kept.
