The Nags Head, Walthamstow

I used to live in Walthamstow and this was my most frequented pub during this time due it being a friend's local. The Maldon Gold was usually good, but not always. The missus used to like the fruit beers. The garden is decent. But it doesn't look or feel like a pub . The cat obsession is beyond weird, even the Christmas decorations all seemed to be cat themed. And yes the signs. There are signs everywhere, I have never been in a pub with so many rules.

I was very sad when in my last week in the Stow we discovered The Castle, which was much more to my liking.

Ebrington Arms, Chipping Camden

Went to this pub a couple of years back for dinner when staying near by and enjoyed it so much we went back for dinner the next night, and Sunday lunch. Very good food, very good ale and Jim as host was awesome. Every time we mention a weekend away I always ask if we can go here but for various reasons we haven't been able to. I very much look forward to a return visit!

The Peasant, Clerkenwell

My favourite London pub. I love everything about this pub, from the decor, great staff, awesome food, and of course the ever changing line up of ale, always anchored by the excellent Brewers Gold. Last time I was in I think it was Skinners Cornish Knocker on which was excellent. The Sunday roast was incredible.

The Oak, Bromley

My local for the last year and a nice pub to have round the corner. Doom Bar is always excellent, they also have Flowers and a guest. The place is nicely decorated, very friendly and very comfortable. Between my wife and I we've eaten in here about 8 times now and always really enoyed the food. The only downside is the recent removal of Aspalls as the draught cider in favour of Strongbow (why, of why???). This in itself loses the pub a mark as I really enjoyed ther Aspalls in the summer.

The Imperial Arms, Chislehurst

The pub has just been done up and very nice it is too. My wife and I took a stroll up here last weekend having received a flyer the week previous. The Doom Bar was very good and my wife was very happy with the draught Aspells. We had a bite to eat and the food was really nice. There were a few people in on the Saturday afternoon which gave the pub a nice atmosphere

The Partridge, Bromley

Always enjoy a visit to The Partidge. Staff are always great, beer well kept as you'd expect, and the pies last winter were great. A nice way to remove yourself from the Saturday afternoon bustle of Bromley.
