The Prince Blucher, Twickenham

agree with last comment but by far best pub in Twickenham.

The Cross Lances, Hounslow

malo66 I agree 100% This is a gem of a pub. The only place in Hounslow for a man to pop into and have a pint after a hard days graft. Family friendly despite all the bad reputations it had and politics it carried 7-10 years ago. Nice too see a Fullers pub surviving Hounslow.

The Red Lion, Feltham

Walked in 2 kids 1 lady with me for a bite to eat and there was fight between gippos and staff. Avoid.

The Airman, Feltham

2014, not drank in this pub before simply because everyone knows it as a drug pub. Since the new landlord came in (who regulars don't like...AND I CAN SEE WHY....He is not a drug man) He has 'cleaned up' the place got rid of the 'Dealers' and tried his hardest to make it a Pub worth having a pint in....It is, The place has good bands at weekends a new menu and a pretty good selection of drinks...minus the 'Wallys' as commented before... This is a good pub now. 8/10

The George and Dragon, Yiewsley

I pop in this place at least once or twice a week after work for a quick beer. Staff are polite and Drink quality is good, Food very good and atmosphere is laid back Also got sky sports. And majority of supporters are Arsenal! Waheyyy, The only pub in Yiewsley high street worth drinking in. 8/10 no complaints but nothing too special.

The Admiral Nelson, Whitton

Much improved over the last two years. beer ale and food is at a great standard. Great pub with good entertainment at weekends and sports channel range is top nosh!

The White Hart, Whitton

great pub, great staff, great food and Love getting beer in the glasses straight out of the freezer. Cant really say a bad word about this place. Wish they had that interactive game on again though!!! 9/10

The Victoria Inn, Richmond

Ill agree with the last few comments. Good beers, Great staff and warm welcom well worth a visit. 8/10

The Prince's Head, Richmond

Great pub, good service well kept ale and lager, food good and over-looking the green so can take beers out. All in all a good pub 8/10 and deserved. Oh and yeah that barmaid is miserable!!! (see below)

23 Nov 2008 16:33

The Cricketers, Richmond

Nice little place over-looking the green, Beer quality was good and staff were frirndly, Not best in the winter as very compact but great in summer as can stand outside and drink on the green. Deserves a 7/10 not tried the food though so not a major accurate rating in all honesty!!!

23 Nov 2008 16:29

The Fig Tree, Uxbridge

Place has huge potential to be a good pub but not when your locals are all West Drayton and Uxbridge chavs.
Nice scenary and reasonably good beer quality Staff seemed polite but had to wait a while to be served. Problem with Uxbridge and pubs is the customers are all rowdy teens and early twenties lowlifes with kids getting in the way. However this place gets a 6 outta 10 i must have caught them on a reasonably good day!!!

23 Nov 2008 16:14

The Arsenal Tavern, Highbury

Only visit on matchdays and cant say a bad word about it but then im only there about 5 times a year!!! 9/10 but im no local!!!

16 Nov 2008 18:45

Ben Crouch's Tavern, Fitzrovia

Very unusual pub. Kinda goth like but play good modern and old classic rock for background music which i liked, Staff very polite and beer kept very well.
Very unusual place but good friendly atmosphere and worth a check out for something different on a night out!!! 8/10.
All they really need is a live band and later licence???

3 Nov 2008 14:12

The Duke of York, Whitton

WARNING TO LIAM AND JAMIE TOMPKINS ILL FIND YOU AND KICK THE SHIT OUT OFF YOU PLEASE ALL DRINKERS MAKE THEM AWARE OFF THIS. PUBS A SHITHOLE.

Wetherspoons T2L, Heathrow Airport

I work for Exel and deliver here not alcohol only food and often pop in for a beer after finishing work at the airport so being located in an airport i suppose i am one of prob 2 or 3 locals and its a nice place for a pint before you flt out, But then being the only bar in terminal 2 landside its not got much competition until you get airside anyway when theres a.......... ( Drumroll)........ J......D............... WETHERSPOONS!!! 6/10

29 Jul 2008 18:06

The Sun, Hounslow

Starting too like this pub more every visit well worth a look.

29 Jul 2008 18:01

The Shire Horse, Hounslow

As a hounslow drinker i must say the new investors have done a good job of lightening and cleaning this place up. Beer and Ale is more lively than before and staff give reasonably good service but are always polite, Only time will tell on the Shire but im confident itll go from strength to strength. good luck too the new management.

9 Jul 2008 13:21

The Lion Hotel, Dulverton

As my last comment stated a while back, still perfect. Cant say anything bad about the place. Food, Ale and Service was the best. Hotel was clean and warm for the cold week in january that i was there!!! Loved my visit to the lion for a second time and look forward to visiting the place again. Well done all at the Lion Hotel had a great weekend in your company. 10/10

The Shire Horse, Hounslow

Am i right in saying the Shire horse football team of 20 odd years is going to change to the Cross Lances? I played for the club 8 years ago when i believe Alan and Peter were the secretarys and managers of the club, pity too see the pub go so far downhill from what ive read and lose a very strong and committeed football team. I just hope after such bad reviews Alan and Peter are still going to run the team and get the respect they deserve. Good luck to them both i wont comment on the pub as not been around the area for a few years. Just wanted too wish the Shire Horse team well in next years season in the West Middlesex Sunday League.

19 Feb 2008 00:44

The Wishing Well, Hounslow

Not bad pub people are friendly and good quality on beer and guinness but most of all the barmaids a Jessica Alba lookalike stunning!! thats the only reason i go in there!!!

8 Jul 2007 15:57

The Wheelwrights Arms, Kingston Upon Thames

I only visit this pub when i go shopping prob once every 3 months and i must say its very good for food and beers are top notch. well worth going in for a bite rather than going to the usual fast food outlets nearby. 7/10

18 Jun 2007 18:28

The Angel and Crown, Richmond

Used to work in tesco next door to this when i was 18ish! always went there and pub was lovely could not see a fault in there i believe the landlord at the time was Morris and Sophie was the chef uurrgg!!! Went in there for the first time in years the other day and must say its still a nice place to go.
worth checking it out if your in the area. 7/10

18 Jun 2007 18:22

The Duke of York, Whitton

The place is a s**thole everythings filthy and people are pikey and vicious.
Such a pity as this pubs got huge potential but its reputation will never change.
Oh and a message to everyone in there get a job, Im sick of paying tax for you simple minded fools.

7 Jun 2007 15:15

The Bell, Hounslow

Id rather cut the end of my nob off douse it in lemon juice and rub some salt into it than have a beer in the bell end serice was crap beer was crap no ale and vicious atmosphere complete s#*thouse.

7 Jun 2007 15:04

Shannons, Hounslow

Whoever the anonymous 3 sept2006 person is below.

7 Jun 2007 14:58

The Windmill, Hounslow

Beers not to bad locals are all friendly but the pub itselfs bit of a bland boring place to go.
Watched the england game in there few weeks ago when everyone was in good spirit but most of the time its a pretty depressing place to be.
Bar staff were pretty good though polite and welcoming Patio gardens ok but ill agree with strongers below nothing special.

7 Jun 2007 10:08

The White Hart, Whitton

Disappointed1983 is being a bit harsh.
This pub has by far the best beer garden around the whitton and hounslow area a good selection of lagers and the ale is always top notch.
One thing which i love about this place is that they keep there pint glasses in the freezer so beers are always ice cold.
The barmaids are polite and yes they wear short tops etc but im male so thats good.
Disappointed1983 must have walked in on a bad day cos yes you sometimes get a group of idiots from the nelson go down but when they do there harmless they just come across as intimidating.
Overall its a pretty good pub.
Actually i might pop down there later to see the barmaid!!!

7 Jun 2007 09:58

The South Western, Whitton

Pubs a dump full of chavs single parented council house scum beer qualitys rubbish and the placehas a smell lingering all around it. Not a good place for food either all cheap junk. Barmaid was very friendly though and the gardens not to bad but overall not very good. 2/10

7 Jun 2007 09:49

The Duke of Cambridge, Twickenham

A very good traditional pub, Friendly staff and most probably serves the freshest pint in the whitton area.
Pleasent beer garden and friendly atmosphere between the locals.8/10

29 May 2007 17:41

Beehive, Bedfont

Not a bad place staff are friendly and beer qualiy was good ale was not very lively though.
Locals seem like an ok bunch which in the bedfont area i was surprised. 6/10.

29 May 2007 17:36

The Shire Horse, Hounslow

good Beer quality but very poor service.
Everythings falling apart in this place too.
The dunnys are filth and lightings terrible.
My advice is walk out (if you bother to go in) do a right walk 50yards and Walla, The Cross Lances! A proper pub!!!

29 May 2007 17:27

The Rifleman, Hounslow

The Riflemans dead. And its a good job too.
Closed down and wont be missed.

8 Apr 2007 16:25

Mawson Arms/ Fox and Hounds, Chiswick

Your never meet any bar staff as friendly as the mawsons.
Food is perfect and this place offers the freshest pints around.
Cant say a bad word.

8 Apr 2007 16:22

The Rock House Inn, Dulverton

Stayed recently in The Lion hotel just a minites walk away from the rock so payed many visits to this pub.
friendly staff and good selection of ciders.
Good dart area and ok pool table.
Only real critism of the pub was the locals were not welcoming and made sure you knew that.

8 Apr 2007 16:12

The Lion Hotel, Dulverton

Spent last week staying in the lions hotel and could not have had a more enjoyable visit.
Staff were friendly and excellant exmoor ales were available on draught.Food was top nosh and portions were just right.
Pub itself was clean and tidy with a warm welcoming atmosphere. Most Recommended for a weekend stay for a relaxing break! 10 out of 10!

8 Apr 2007 16:07

Bar Bhangra, Hounslow

not very friendly poor food and beer quality pretty rubbish overall. one out of ten as see a fit bird in there.

7 Mar 2007 19:41

The North Star, Hounslow

Average pub bit of a pikey atmosphere and not very friendly but has all the sports pool table and dart board. Beer qualitys not great but has improved recently since the makeover.

28 Jan 2007 11:50

The Admiral Nelson, Whitton

The pub itself is in a good location and has all the amenities you want except a juke box.
The majority of customers however are single parented chavs that do nothing but get smashed and let there kids run around pissing you off.
Some members of bar staff are reasonably nice and professional while some just arrogant low lifes.
Not the best of pubs but tolerable.
Needs new management.

28 Jan 2007 11:41

The Cross Lances, Hounslow

The pub itself has two sections to it, a saloon bar with big screen tv and an itbox, the other section is a public bar with Darts Pool and fruit machines.
A lovely pub with good full plates of food, good prices and selections of drinks.
Bar staff excellant service and very polite.
Juke box with 2million tracks. Perfect.
