For decent food and service avoid. For fresh cooked food and decent service go to The Crown just up Ipswich road in Ardleigh, or the Toby Carvery at the White Hart in Stanway. If you like microwave meals give it a go!

Absolutely excellent. Have eaten here countless times over the years and never had a bad meal, service or time. The staff, service, food and drink are how it should be. I look forward to my next visit � would thoroughly recommend, you wont be disappointed.

Service was slow, was ignored by three staff (including either the manager or a manager) when trying to order food. No apology from the manager for getting one order wrong- was rude and obnoxious. For the price of the sunday lunch pay the little extra and go to the Crown at Ardleigh - have always had good food and good service.

Nicest bar in Colchester! Close to Route nightclub and town centre. Really nice silver and purple pool table for a few games of pool (has pool table and fruit machine.
Also brilliant atmosphere to watch the football at.

The Three Horseshoes, Fordham
Usually 2 local Real Ales gravity served. Usually including the lovely brews from the Red Fox Brewery.
