The Poacher, Tudeley

I recently visited this pub with some friends, ( sorry restaurant ) you cannot call the Poacher pub.
When I ordered a pint, it came with a head over an inch thick, when I asked for it to be topped up, the chap behind the bar said the was the landlords perks, and told his staff not to fill it up, I accepted the pint as I did not whon't to make a fuss as my friends had not yet arrived.
We decided not to have starters and ordered your main meals, what a mistake that was, as the main meals would not feed a dormouse, and was not was discribed on the menu.
If you expept to be fed when you dine out, then I would not recommend you go to the Poacher.

The Golding Hop, Plaxtol

This is how an old country pub should be, its just great, cannot fault the beer or cider (try the house rough) with just the best egg and chips you'v ever tasted, the pub is situated at the bottom of a hill with a large car park and place to sit out side, try to visit when the whole of the front of the pub is covered with flowers, (what a picture ), but beware, Don't ask for tea or coffee, as the reply you would get might upset you, as this is a true beer and cider house.
It's Great.

The Kentish Rifleman, Dunks Green

My family recently visited the Kentish Rifle for lunch, we order from the main menu, followed by a dessert, we all said that the food was excellent, and so was the beer, this is a great country pub, which serves food but still retains the feel of an old style pub, there is also a nice garden at the back and to the side of the loverly pub,we must not forget to mention the pub has a friendly landlord and staff, I know we will become regulars.
