Like this pub - welcoming and friendly bar staff and good range of beers. Nice mixtgure of locals and students. Also pub is big enough to get away from the sports screen if you just want quiet chat. Can't comment on ladies toilets as mentioned by previous poster but my girl friend said there was no problem with them.

Popped in few days ago to take advantage of their cheaper drinks - having overspent at xmas. Okay they may have cheaper drink but not much else going for it. Looking around at the customers reminded me of being in a DHSS waiting room. Least it reminded me of why I don't like Wetherspoons pub chain.

The Happy Man, Englefield Green
Quite a nice little pub tucked away in side street. Very friendly with good selection real beer. Liked the mix of students and locals and very friendly welcoming atmosphere.

Ignored this pub to start with as seemed very quiet and not much happening. After few visits, very much warmed to the pub. Food excellent and more upmarket feel than most pubs in Egham. Has quite a cool garden, patio area for smokers which is really a hidden asset for the pub. Good service and friendly guys run the place - looking forward to more visits.

Not a bad pub with reasonable priced meals. Okay to watch a match on Sky Sports but not really a pub for evening out. Would go there with mates for few beers and football but not for evening out with girl friend.
