Completly dislike this pub. Extremely rude bouncers. Extremely snooty. Refused us entry on the grounds of being "too casual" when the couple in front of us were very scruffily dressed. On the other hand, went to lunch here once. Extortionate prices for what I thought was a very weak "panini", I'm sure I could've done better going to "coughlans"

New management at the chestnut... it's actually worth going in. Really liked it there. Only every been on weeknights where it's a bit dead but dead in a good way.

Been here a few times, it's really nice for a quiet drink... tried the christmas ale... after just three pints of it I left the pub fairly tipsy.

I like this pub. It gained a *very* brief notoriety for under-agers last year but they soon clamped down on that. I like to go there anyway, staff always very friendly and polite.

Agreed with Fergus. Went on a quiet wednesday. Good service, nice atmosphere, the wine was a bit rank though.

Like it here. Not bad for a mid-week drink.
Me and a friend got particularly plastered by mistake here... holds some good memories.
