Spent a lovely Sunday afternoon at The New Inn, we had a fantastic Roast Beef Sunday Roast, with homemade gravy and yorkshire pudding... yum! Really nice to see that the real ales were up to scratch with POSH IPA and Doombar which both were excellent. The landlord put hot and cold food on the bar for all the locals and all else to nibble on while watching the footie which was a nice touch.
Very clean and tidy and the refubishment still looks fab. Thanks New Inn x

Went to the Sunday Quiz at The New Inn this week... had a fantastic evening. This quiz was really something different and it was really close. Didn't win the �50 cash prize but had a excellent night. Thanks New Inn.

Building works have started, believe this is now being converted to domestic house/flats. Next best pubs would be The New Inn for family friendly atmosphere, food, entertainment & Corner House for pub.

This pub is in a lovely setting in Preston. We enjoyed sitting in the garden when the sun decided to come out! Good pub grub, served quickly & staff very friendly.

Wonderful visit to The New Inn, again! Staff are always friendly. The pub has recently had extensive refurbishments and has become a freehouse. I was happy to find the prices reflected it's now freehouse status. Real Ale prices started at �2.60 a pint with 2 local ales from DBC. They were also running a drinks promo of �2.29 between 3& 7pm weekdays for John Smiths, Fosters, Strongbow & Small House wine, excellent value for money. The new lunch & grill menu is very well priced with a great selection of home cooked items. I especially liked the wood burning fire & comfy leather sofas.
Definately recommend this pub.

Aug 09 Had a fantastic Sunday Roast here last Sunday. Food is always excellent & staff very friendly. Would recommend this pub, very safe beer garden for kids to play, we enjoyed the real ales & wine. The new management are really improving the place every time we visit.

New Inn, Portland
Absolutely lovely Sunday Roast today at The New Inn this afternoon, great atmosphere and real ale superb too. Staff friendly as always. Kids enjoyed the last of the sunshine in the beer garden which allowed us to lounge on the sofa in front of the wood burner. Great!
