Pub recently re-opened, but need to give a bit of time as the new people seem a bit inexperienced. Should do quite well. People I spoke to weren't over impressed by the food, but were prepared to come back and try again.

Good landlady who has a very warm welcome. Been here when free chips handed out to keep the punters happy, Occasional guest beer. Large outdoor area for smokers and garden for kids. Popular pub in this small town.

This pub closed in 2007 and it doesn't look loke it will ever open again. RIP yet another pub.

Nice little friendly and local pub in the backwaters of this small town. Theakston, Bombadier and guest beer also available. Well kept Guinness. No food though.

Ye Olde Cheshire Cheese, Fleet Street
This has to be one of the best pubs in London and one of the cheapest. Please don't change it!

This pub is a gem. Great range of ales and (particularly) Belgian beers.
Didn't try the food but it looked like a good menu. It's only a mile from Wrenbury Station, so if you're travelling from Crewe, Manchester, Shrewsbury or points souith to Cardiff, it can easily be done.
