Queen Victoria Inn, Northampton

Closed as of the 20th April 2015, due to no long term Tenant and Charles Wells being unwilling to pay the management company that supplied a very keen and friendly young man to run things and who has been doing an excellent job for the last 6 months or so.

I'm a local, I will update if/when it re-opens.

0 rating as SHUT! but could be a 10!!!!

The George Inn, Towcester

NOTE: this is in Tiffield, NOT Towcester!

Usually 3 or 4 , always changing, well kept Ales on tap,
Nice garden and off street parking,
Food is simple and not outstanding, but equally, no problems with service or quality.
Friendly Landlord & Landlady, always putting on events and making it a nice place to go.

The Crown, Great Horwood

Popped in for a pint whilst on a bike ride this weekend, a good pint of real ale and decent cider (Aspalls?)
Nice bit of garden in front and a quite nice rear beer garden with wooden decking, tables and chairs.
overall pretty good.

Eastcote Arms, Eastcote

I don't think Westonhas ever been in this pub, I think he is confused with another Eastcote arms in Eastcote West London, not this one in Northamptonshire.

I think this is a great little pub with great beers and decent meals.

The back garden could be a bit tidier, but maybe they're in the middle of a prolonged bit of work?

The recent use of the barn for Footie viewing was a good idea.

The Greyhound, Milton Malsor

Great Location, it's got a big green in front of the pub with a pond (fenced) and loads of picnic benches. so reaosnably far away from the road.
Big car park.
The food is very good, but slightly expensive and a little on the poncy side.
Nice dining area, with tables reasonably seperated.
About 4 Real ales generally on, and always seem to be in pretty good shape.
Only Strongbow cider on tap, so nothing psecial there.

The Old Crown, Little Horwood

PERMANANTLY CLOSED !!

Cycled past on July 4th 2010 and has been closed for some time.

Try the Shoulder of Mutton nearby, it's quite good.

Eastcote Arms, Eastcote

Wow! That previous review is a bit harsh!
Not a bad village pub and considering there's only the on in the village and not another for a few miles around, it's not bad at all.
Decent real ale with usually a choice of a couple of different ones and they do decent pub food and snacks. Also they've got a rear pub garden with benches that's really nice on a sunny day.
Not the best pub in the world, but a very long way away from being the Worst!

The Old Swan, Bletchley

Great Pub!
Excellent Green King beer!
Excellent, cheap, Meals!

Good atmosphere, the best pub in Bletchley!

The Chequers, Fenny Stratford

It's a simple little pub, that delivers what a simple little pub should, a good welcome, beer's OK but they could do with more Real Ale, The refit made it a bit nicer, less "dank" but then again, we like dank!
It's a shame "Guinness" the dog isn't around anymore!

Prince Albert, Milton Keynes

Went here last Tuesday evening, I totally agree with DaveDimo's comments, Food was good and cheap, beer (Eagle IPA) was very good but only that and Bombadier.....

The Victoria Inn, Milton Keynes

Visited here last Tuesday evening, no food on offer, so we went across the road to the Albert where we had a good, cheap meal.
Beer range looked excellent, but we didn't try any.
Who has entered the details that say they do food?
