This has recently changed hands, I went to visit friends in Hartpury and we went to the Rising Sun instead because the landlord of the Exchange is apparently not very friendly! Shame, it used to be a decent pub.

Oh dear! Walked here from the Cotswold Farm Park one Sunday lunchtime. The nibbles were expensive but the Donningtons SBA reasonably priced - so reasonable I had more than I intended and had to crawl back to the Farm Park.
Definately worth a visit.

Still one of the best in the City, always busy but rarely too crowded.

The Boat has re-opened! After being closed due to flooding from July to November the pub has been re-decorated and opened last weekend with a fine selection of real ales, as usual.

The Wheatstone Inn, Barnwood
A bog standard, pre-fabricated, "oldey worldey" pub built about six months ago next to a Travel Lodge. Perfectly acceptable food and beer, but nothing special.
