Sun Inn, Leintwardine

Very friendly locals and landlord Gary knows his beer. Not a lot of choice but the beers I tried were in good condition...Hobsons best bitter and Hobsons mild and another called twisted spire(I think!!).The pub has its own mayor,a friendly chap very willing to share a yarn or two.The main bar has a couple of long benches and a few chairs with a small log/coal fire, you are welcome to eat fish and chips from next door chip shop. The other bar is more of a front room with an armchair a few chairs and a small sideboard and small log/coal fire. The beer barrels are stored in the kitchen and the bar takings in a tin in a cupboard. This is a TOTALLY UNIQUE PUB(PARLOUR PUB),dont expect the sort of pub you are normally used to,leave your expectations outside and share a beer and chat with people you dont know, make some new temporarory(or permanent)friends.Enjoy.

The Foxhound Inn, Brixton

a truely great pub,the food is fantastic, even a plowmans lunch is a delight to see and eat (yes it looked pretty too!!!) The pub has a comfortable olde world feel and is in two main parts, food area and bar.The bar is a traditional room serving many fine real ales, the turnover seems very quick and all the beers tasted were in very good condition, the food area is comfortable clean and tidy,it could be improved by some clever interior designing. The locals seem very friendly, the only drawback is a very small carpark.WELL WORTH A VISIT.
Cheers Vince

The Eddystone Inn, Heybrook Bay

have been here in the past and it was bad,but having heard its got new owners thought I would give it another try.....bad idea. The beer was cloudy, not a little ,but but soup!!!! I didnt return it as I was so angry, this is just poor staff or cellar manship.I left the pint on a table near the window(nice view of the sea) as a warning to other drinkers.Dont go to this pub.

Three Horseshoes, Dunmow

A real pub,no food but a few crisps and nuts.Pleasant garden,an interesting interior with many old beer bottles and stage posters(Derek the landlord was on the stage in his earlier life.Always a couple of real ales in good nick, this is a rare pub in this area(well in any area!!!!) support this real pub sporting a witty and interesting landlord.Well worth a visit.

The Old Court House, Westfield

great pub,the locals do hog the bar but are friendly, and Andy the landlord knows his beers. They have a festival once a year, food good and cheap, not too exciting but served quickly. Not the best interior but its being improved slowly all the time.Visit this one.

The Salehurst Halt, Robertsbridge

A great country pub.Normally having one or two dark star beers and harveys, all in very good condition, and even when the less knowing beautiful young ladies serve, they are guided by the barman to pull of a pint to start with.the food looks good and the locals are friendly, dont want to praise it too much as it gets busier every time i go there...great garden too.go in the winter and enjoy the fire.

The Jenny Lind, Hastings

this pub has sadly gone downhill.New owners have managed to loose the music license and the beer has got so bad we wont drink there any more.I hear Scottish and Newcastle are putting in a new manager, lets see if it improves.
