Had a really poor point of IPA there yesterday evening. Most pubs in this area keep beer well - this one clearly does not.

This is a great pub, very buzzy, good selection of beer, and a lovely building

The Hare and Hounds, St Albans
I think some of the comments below are well before the current licensees. Went there a few days ago, the pub itself and staff very welcoming, and a very well produced and run pub quiz. Good selection of beers and a nice place to while a few hours/pints away

The Strathmore Arms, St Pauls Walden
Beer is kept extremely well in this pub. It is a no-nonsense, traditional pub. Been there on my bike/in cycling gear several times and haven't experienced any issues noted below, so hopefully was a one-off.
