The Beehive, Brentford

The Beedive. It attracts the cream of the welfare state for miles around (this should tell you all you need to know, but I will continue). The beer is not very good, the usual faceless drug addicts and alcoholics cram through the doors on benefits day to get lagered up and act like primates. Walking past the outdoor smoking area is like walking past the chimpanzee enclosure at the zoo, the only difference being that the chimpanzee's in the zoo throw less shit at you as you walk past. It is one of the worst pubs I have ever been in. Go to the Magpie & Crown, Brewery Tap or O'Briens, instead of this dump. You will thank me for it.

The Magpie and Crown, Brentford

Always a great selection of real ales on from a range of microbreweries such as Oakham, Twickenham, Buxton, Thornbridge, Dark Star, Acorn, Castle Rock,
Pictish... The list goes on and on. From my experience there is always a beer on for every taste imaginable and every pint is top notch. Well worth a visit if you are passing through Brentford. It is definitely the best pub in town.

The Globe, Brentford

Not a bad pub, food is good value for money, always loads of fitties working behind the bar. Beer is okay not a fan of Fullers beers.

Bridge Inn, Derby

I worked here about 9 years ago, it was frequented by the worst bunch of chav scum/woman beaters you could think of. I once even witnessed a drunked yob kick his girlfirend up the arse as she walked down the stairs to the pool area, how she didn't fall I will never know. The worst of all was the red nosed alcoholic scumbag landlord who was 'one of the boys' and hence when complaints were made about rudeness to staff by these knuckle draggers nothing got done.

The landlord was rude staff and made various members of his 'team' cry on a regular basis when the did something wrong no matter how small. The team itself at the time were a bunch of bullying and cantankerous people that would make you want to join a leper colony rather than have to put up with their shitty ways.

The beer was swill and Carling was a favourite, the only ales on offer were Pedigree and Bass, which was kept in an appallingly bad condition (probably cos the landlord was pissed/hungover all the time), if you liked the taste of balsamic vinegar you would have liked the Pedi at the Bridge.

However he must have drunk himself to death by now so the place can only have gotten better. Still I would never ever go back to this dump, in an otherwise charming location right on the Derwent in Chester Green.
