quality pub down to earth type, love the marine photos and pics on the walls well worth a visit

The Nelson, Sheffield

if you like rock or metal this place rocks!dark dank atmosphere which i love about the place, very cool artwork and posters on the walls kept me reading while drinking and listening to the tunes

dj's have shed loads of music up for request, downstairs is cool as well, was more of an old school rock feel about the place down there, but up stairs any thing goes (had machine head playing at one point!)

place got quite busy when i visited over a weekend stay at the city but never too busy to not get a drink

check out the corporation as well awesome metal / alternative night club seems affiliated with this place

i will deffo visit again next time i'm in the area

Bar TW3, Hounslow

Will not be missed, a haven for trouble and idiots, not that i'm usually bothered by that but when there are on average 15 - 20 guys in a group each tome you go in all looking for a scrap it gets one sided (and i'm refering to the local squadies these are local idiots not even capable of getting into the armed forces)

The Rifleman, Hounslow

Nooooo! I loved this place, not been here on ages (obviously from my post date), had a proper old Victorian London grimy feel about it which i love, they used to have bands and was a great place to kill a few hours, always interesting people about, had an old classic cocktail arcade game table as well. RIP old friend Rifleman, RIP

The White Hart, Aldershot

Lovely pub and very friendly owners, the locals are very friendly and a good laugh as well, no food though unfortunately but one really seems to mind
Live music most weekends, though jukebox could do with more metal (hatebreed!), pool table is good with a pool league floating about if that's your bag, and live sports on big plasma's, the locals are more footie orientated than rugby though
Deffo worth visiting for an ale or 5!
