The White Hart, Chalfont St Peter

This pub is in my heritage.
My great grandfather and grandmother ran it from 1900 to 1906 where my great greandmother died.
I visited the pub last year and had Sunday lunch.
Met up with Rachel who was brilliant and told me the history of the pub.
The inside has not been changed very much but the low ceilings, oak beams, open fireplace I think gave the pub atmosphere.
The lunch was lovely.
Cant comment on the beer as I was driving and I had a coke.
The downside to the pub is the huge LCD screens for mainly the football. They are too big and overshadow the rest of the pub and why they need 2 in such a small area is beyond me.
Another sad thing is that there is no beer garden.
Parking is non existant too.
Otherwise worth a visit.
