The Worm's Head Hotel, Swansea

Quality pub. Amazing beer garden overlooking the bay, and the two ales were both top banana. Good bar snacks, including Scampi Fries. YES

The Forth Hotel, Newcastle

Scampi Fries? I don't think so (nice pub though, the best one to go for while waiting for a train)

The Cluny, Ouseburn

Great pub! They have bands playing most weekends( maybe all weekends?), nice beer and nee strokers. I used to live nearby in Sandyford, now i'm in london, i wish i'd gone to the Cluny more often. Look forward to visiting it again soon.

Dyvel's, Corbridge

Nice pub this one, particularly in the summer, as they have a big beer garden.
they've got a wide selection of ales, and a decent pool table (albeit with a bit of a lean). It's very close to the train station, good if you live in Hexham for example. AND, most importantly, they sell scampi fries.

The Prince of Wales, Kennington

I visted this pub for the first time yesterday with a few of my colleagues, i must admit i was almost enchanted by the peaceful surroundings, that remenided me of my childhood in delmonte, the world certainly was a different place back then. But enough amout me, the pub had a fine selection of ales (spitfire being the favourite of my old war time buddy Lieutenant Thomas)some splendid whiskeys and Asahi on tap. The bar staff were very polite and the atmosphere was joyous. Definitely worth checking out.

The Lock Tavern, Camden

Great place to go if you want to get started on by bar staff and get a trilby shoved in your face. Full of Russel Glands, Pete Cockertys and other assorted pretentious t@ss-pots. poor show.

The Dipton Mill Inn, Hexham

Spent many evenings in the Dipton after wandering down from Hexham. Great beers and food, legendary owner, quality pub games (including bar billiards), and a lovely beer garden.
Perfect. 10/10.

Quinn's, Camden

I used to live in Kentish Town and regularly visited Quinn's with my girlfriend and housemates.
I returned there last night with some friends, and was served by someone fitting the description of a previously-mentioned "Mr Quinn's jnr"(middle aged, bolshy). He is THE rudest person I have ever purchased drinks from. When asked by my friend if he had a taxi number, he replied "why are you wasting my time...leave me alone". When addressing me, he said "give me your friend's work address, I want to go round THERE and waste HIS time". He then asked me if I'd "got that through my thick head", and when I told him I used to enjoy drinking in Quinn's, was told in no uncertain terms to "f^*k off".
I will never drink there again, and am embarrssed to have taken my friends there.
Avoid it at all costs.
