The Rose Tavern, Wisbech

Shame about the photo, this is not the Rose Tavern. Used to visit this place years ago when Graham and Justin run it. The news is that they now reside in Australia. Have recently found out that Reg passed on, yet another old character gone. I will be back later in the year to try the beers again, i'll give a rating then. Looking forward to it.

The Cat's Back, Wandsworth

Rugby World Cup Final night... Fantastic mix of people in. There must be a 70's charity shop around the corner, it's flat caps , check jackets and ill fitting trousers. Forget that, it's all part of this fab pub. The beer was good but seems to be more of a lager pub, but good lagers and not the mass produced rubbish.Friendly and efficient staff, so if you can find the place then make sure you give it a visit.

The Albion, Verwood

Bit of a smokey pub, i'd like to see what it's like after 1st July. Quite a lively place with some well kept beer although I didn't try the food. Overall, an ok night out

The Red Shoot Inn, Linwood

Lovely New Forest pub, very friendly staff, excellent food and a fine selection of real ales. This is a place that is well worth a visit. It gets very busy at weekends so it maybe worth booking a table.

The Harrow, Chessington

Staff friendly enough, they do have some decent special offers- Bulmers 2.50 a bottle is ok. I think this outlet is worthy of a 7. As Arnie would say "I'll Be Back"

The Six Bells, Newdigate

Nice rural pub with a large garden and a great childrens play area. Friendly staff, the only downside is that there is a 1 surcharge to use a creditcard. Otherwise fab.

The Seven Stars, Leigh

Very nice pub. Helpful staff and very tasty food. I have stopped here many times and found that it's a most welcoming venue. A real country pub. Keep up the good work.

The Cedar Tree, Putney

Went in on Saturday evening, had to ask if they were open, only a couple of people in there.Small range of beers, only had John Smiths creamflow, and a few lagers. Sign outside says Pub To Let. Let's hope it improves if it gets taken over. There's a sign on the toilet doors saying "There is a 5 charge to use if you don't purchase anything from the bar" Plenty of room for improvement.
