Ship Centurion Arminius, Whitstable

Great free house, good real ales at a knock down price and always in tip top condition with a big selection of continental beers, nice atmosphere and friendly staff and locals.

The First and Last, Maidstone

It's been a long time since I visited here, first the good news, the miserable landlady has gone, the bad news is the clients have gone downhill and the beer is way too expensive for a back street boozer.

The Pilot, Maidstone

fantastic pub, booked in for a sunday roast and was not dissapointed, great beer and was advised by the friendly landlord what i was drinking, live music was unobtrusive and well received, all in all 10 out of 10. keep it up.

The First and Last, Maidstone

popped in recently only to be greeted by a person swinging a baseball bat at someone else ! not what i expected, the beer was pricey at 3.30 for ale. i also heard that the pub is up for sale ?

The Bower Inn, Maidstone

The First and Last, Maidstone

popped in again recently whilst in the area, real ales in good condition as usual but was disturbed to hear racist remarks by an older member of the clientel, not really what you want to hear or expect from a pub of this calibre...is it a case of "if your black stay back..if your brown stickaround..if your white your alright".please ask this fool to drink elsewhere landlord.

The Swan on the Green, West Peckham

sunday lunch was poor and expensive, "fuggles" was good enough though, landlord needs a kick in the arse for being rude, who does he think he is ? only giving it a 8 for the setting.

Bull Inn, East Farleigh

my god, whats happened to this place, ok last time i visited here was about 10 years ago but this is a country pub not a place for tatooed thugs who should be in maidstone town centre beating each other up.

The Rifle Volunteers, Maidstone

The Muggleton Inn, Maidstone

shame this pub has gone down hill, used to drink there everytime i visited maidstone due to good real ale,now caters for heavy drinkers on the dole and tatooed chavs and their foul mouthed wives/girlfriends, c'mon tim (west)clean it up.

The Fox, Maidstone

boring, a few mutants and low life.

The First and Last, Maidstone

popped in again whilst in the area, still a good atmosphere and beer good although a bit pricey, only set back was a very drunk "local" who im informed drinks in there almost every night by the name of jerry or terry, had to almost fight him to get through the door as he was leaning at a drunk angle whilst smoking outside, very offputting and was told by other regulars that this is the norm and that they may look elswhere to drink if he continues to frequent the pub, shame, c'mon landlord and lady get rid of this drunken fool for the sake of your regulars.

The Admiral Gordon, Maidstone

great little pub, friendly crowd, good pint of "pride" great on a sunday lunchtime - seafood and roast tatties and they close at 3 just as pubs should.
