Having used to work in this pub as a wee lass, i am dissapointed in the grade of service and quality of food since the takeover.
I have been back a few times to the pub and have been quite dissapointed with the quality of food. The portions are small and the presentation is sloppy.
I remember serving behing the bar with the crowd waiting to be served being 6 people deep and running all along the bar - This is no longer the case.
People are put off by the quality of the food and tend not to eat there more than once.
It is a damn shame - it is a beatiful place.

They have done a fair job in reconstructing this pub after the fire.
We had a lovely meal but the atmosphere just wasnt there for us.
The staff could be a little friendlier and the landlord could make more of an effort but the chefs more than made up for the lack of service!

Really welcoming pub - a fab local!
The food is always nice and the beer is always good!
Its great for us as we can take our dog in there too.
Friendly staff - a thoroughly enjoyable experience!

I have been to this establishment a few times now and have really enjoyed my trips.
My husband has had the half lamb shoulder a few times now and phew! its a huge portion!!! Great value for money at �15.95.
The landlord could do with a smile on his face every now and then which would be alot more welcoming but nonetheless, a thoroughly enjoyable meal!!
Oh yes, the desserts are amazing!

The Three Horseshoes, Thursley
I went to this pub a few weeks ago now and thought that the service was excellent and the food superb, my husband and I had the scallops to start that were delicious and very filling and then had the steak to follow, which was spilling over the plate, we were so full, we couldn�t manage a dessert!
We would recommend this pub to all!
I would definitely return - 10/10!
