The RSVP, Wimbledon

A tiny bit better than Edwards.

Would close if Croydon tram link was stopped.

GJ's, Colliers Wood

Nice food, agree that there is a bit of a Saffa/Kiwi/Oz vibe there but its a GOOD vibe - not cliquey and I have never had problems getting served (maybe because my wife is a Kiwi!) and its not like the Walkabout chain or anything like that. Agree to an extent with Morrissey's comments below about the football: its the losers who work at Edd!son Wh!te that I think he's refering to. Only downside is that it could do with a bit of a clean. As a Colliers Wood resident who likes a few drinks with a good atmosphere, I either go to the Tup, the Garden House or here.

Rehab, Colliers Wood

Nic eplace, generally good service, have had several good nights out here recently and never had any problems. However, I only come here to eat - wouldn't really come here for a drink because of the cliquey nature of the place as described by one of the comments below. There are some real nobs - I think they work at Eddison White - who spoil the place with their incessant baying.

The Manor Bar & Grill, Tooting

I often wonder how genuine some of the comments on this website are or if the only peple posting are members of the Campaign For Real Ale because I had a great time here having only recently decided to try it out. Have been here twice in the past week, Monday and Friday. Both times it was reasonably busy but the place is big enough that we were able to get a table for 4 on both nights. Food was great and served real quickly, music was great if you prefer a more chilled out vibe, looks really good inside, and got 20% off because my partner works at St George's hospital, which made it realtively cheap. Good crowd too. Don't have any idea what people are saying about the bar staff, I found the service - both times by the same guy who wears a white top and combats - to be absolutely brilliant (maybe they've read the comments below and taken notice?!). Didn't take much notice of what they had on tap as I'm no CAMRA expert put they have bottled Peroni which I love and a nice Pinot in a fancy looking bottle. I hope this place does well because they've obviously put some effort in to make it a nice environment. If going out locally I normally go to the Tup in Colliers Wood or the Trafalgar in Tooting (both of which I like but only really go to the Traf because its near st George's) but will def be encouraging friends to come here more often. However, I could see that if it got really busy then they might need a couple more bar staff, there was only one last night (a Friday) and it took a bit of time to get served. As a Colliers Wood resident, I would advise the new owners of Boabob to take a look inside and get some ideas on how to run a pub!
