I would urge anyone to ignore the previous comment. this is obviously a spiteful sad little person. I also note that he/she also slagged of the pub whose manager frequents this place. Obviously this person was disliked intensly. So lezbot get a life and some friends as this comment sounds like it is from a person without friends and has learning difficulties. The pub is great by the way.

Are the last people who posted reviews for real. Terrible place, awful food, bad bad beer and apalling staff. Much better pubs within the vicinity, try Blue Anchor or Dove but avoid the Rutland like the plague.

The Mad Hatter Hotel, Southwark
The last comment can't be further from the truth. This is a top notch pub with great beers and good affordable food. The staff are always attentive and pleasantly helpful. Also it also helps when one of the managers is so damn hot and sexy (welsh Marc). Definately worth a visit, even if it just to see the beauty that is Marc

Had a fantastic night at the Dove last night. Hadn't been for a while as the staff USED to be so rude. Well impressed with the difference in atmosphere. The bar staff were friendly and were happy to join in with our banter. Fantastic pint of pride, then persuaded by the young welsh bloke to try the red fox which was superb. Later found out the young welsh bloke was actually the manager and quite surprised how he mingled with every group of customers and made everyone feel like they were the best customers there. Definately going back there, cheers to all the staff for a really memroble night.

The Salutation, Hammersmith
Ah, the old weatherspoon argument. I am an advocate of the Salutation and firmly believe the quality of product is reflected in the price. Maybe Phillipher should ask to see the dates on the barrels in the cellar of the plough and harrow and compare to the Salutation. Weatherspoons are notorious for short dated beer which is reflected in the quality and the price.
