Out of all the rough places in Croydon, this is the nicest one. Older more mature crowd,chilled out cool music and the crowd look more classier than the Lloyds lycra Clothing club/it's at/ mirage lot!

This is only a pub I go too when I am meeting someone last minute when I get off the train from work.
bar staff are alright and not too noisy in the week. locals usually propped up on the bar and are harmless!

Not a local of mine as such but when we are stuck for somewhere to go we end up here. food is standard but cheap and generally a smokey old man's pub. Last time I went here there was a group of lairy irish people there singing and dancing and insulting the bar staff when they were asked to move on. The police eventually had to turn up to move them on there way!

The Folly, South Croydon
I used to come here when I worked in Croydon and it was 0k. a good laugh when there was a group of us. They then started employing a load of young girls who wear...well not very much who flirt with the men and ignore the female customers and then be a bit rude when they would finally serve you. a few pikies do come here but overall I wouldnt say the place was trouble. I have never encountered it in the years I have been coming here!
