Quinn's, Camden

Lots of good imported largers (though not everything on the massive list behind the bar will be in stock), just far enough away from Camden tube/market that the tourists don't find it and lots of space - even got seats with Donnie vs Arsenal just starting on the box.

Wellingtons, Cardiff

Have been drinking here on match days (any every other time I'm in Cardiff) for more than 10 years.

The Brains is very well kept, staff are friendly and the TV not too intrusive.

Went through a bad patch a couple of years ago when it tried to become a trendy bar, but now back to what it does best.

The Old Arcade, Cardiff

They may have changed the decor, but the Brains is as well kept and good as ever.

Always friendly and the atmosphere is fantastic when there is a match on.

The Crescent, Salford

One of the few reasons why visiting Manc isn't a complete and utter waste of time.

This is a proper drinkers pub; lots of well kept bitters, milds & ales; plus good czech and belgian largers for those who prefer their booze fizzy. The staff are friendly as are the punters, the food is ok but cheap and soaks up the beer well enough.

All in all, a proper old school pub of the like you don't see enough of any more. Definitely worth a visit if you like your beer.

The Shakespeare, Victoria

How anyone could rate this pub as more than 1/10 I have no idea - what a complete and utter dump.

The Clarendon, Pimlico

One of the better pubs in the Victoria area; having said that that is akin to calling Burger King one of the better eateries at a motorway service station.

Fairly good beer, fairly good food, nice fire, amusing decor (I agree Seb), far enough from BPR/Victoria Street that the hordes coming through won't find it by accident. Not a place to go with a large crowd though.

The Tors, Belstone

Accidentally wandered in and liked the pub so much that we arranged our walk the next day to go back for lunch.

Good selection of beer, excellent selection of single malts, excellent food (especially the pies), friendly staff; what more could you want.
