Friends living in Rothesay tell me this pub has just closed it's doors - says it all doesn't it folks!

was in town for funeral 1st time in 30+ years could not believe how some pubs have gone and others gone downhill. this being one of worse closing at 6pm most nights and some locals said been known to close sundays. I can only guess last comment was posted by owner/employee.

Friendly staff but if you can squeeze past the punters standing at bar just as you go in door and get served,you then get into good size seating areawith pool table and not bad variety on the juke box.

Good size pub and great big screen for football etc. Friendly staff and locals.

The Taverna Lounge Bar, Rothesay
Very small pub, quick efficeint staff and nice clientelle, music on fri. & sat. night only is a female singer.
