judging by the number of men in this pub i suspect it might be a gay bar - am not sure so do not take my word for it. Usually 1 cask beer. Interesting lay out

The Twirl Of Hay, Boughton Heath
This plce is rubbish - It should be shut down - all food is microwaved. and served without a smile - its expensive and full of kids!

i lost my beer blickers in this place - does a nice range of imported beer - all listed on a menu, fantastic. very friendly place. watch out for the chilli they do warn you on the menu - it is vv hot but worth a try - overall the food is excellent. great range of real ale to. forget the minster this is york to me

yeah this is a great pub - fantastic selection of real ale - which changes daily it seems - food great to. however when are they going to get some german and belgium beer in bottles or preferably on draft - it can be done lads. having said that this is a beer oasis in the beer desert which is chester

a friendly local - a hydes pub - always a good selection of hydes brews - great snack selection - internet on bar

Do not buy the hot nuts - they taste of lard. usually at least 1 cask ale. its a local boozer no more no less

great refurb by okells - not as good as their bars in liverpool (fly in loaf and thomas rigbys)- but is still the best bar in chester for german and belgium beer.

i like this pub - unlike the ship and mitre down the road its smart inside so you can take yer mates that like to stick to corporate lager and still enjoy a more unusal beer yourself.

fsntastic place - when will they finnish the refurb. always stop off here when in liverpool. immense selection of beer.

The Victoria, Chester
Have up dated my opinion on this pub, think its still a bit gay, but was in a few saturday nights ago, was really busy with both sexes. bar was like one of those you get on holiday, staff really made an effort and seemed to be enjoying themselves as much as the customers.
