recent visit by my daughter and fiancee did not go well 2 meals were order both arrived cold in fact steak was still frozen in the middle
landlady was asked to deal with the problem to which her reply was that there was nothing wrong! and steak was meant to be rare - well frozen is rare i suppose!
not a venue i would bother to go to again!
Abbey Hotel, William IV & Tavern do better food.

a local pub with a nice family running it
kev, gaynor and their daughter nikki always make every effort to welcome you.
nice outside seating areas, good quality beers and lagers
food is limited but good quality pub grub is the order of the day,.
well worth a visit when in romsey

The Old House at Home, Romsey
had 1 meal here (2 meals) not that impressed, food good but over priced for the quality. for a more reasonable price meal try the Abbey Hotel, the Tavern or the William, real ale was good though!
