The Old Bull Inn, Inkberrow

Took some friends. Too pretentious. I think they all have parts in The Archers

The Fleece Inn, Bretforton

Nigel has built up a good reputation for drink, food, and entertainment. Always has about half a dozen beers like Hook Norton. Uley Old Spot, Pigs Ear, Shropshire lad, Cannon Royal, and occassionally one of the best black country beers which shall remain nameless.(don't want to cause any trouble.) Huge garden which is very children friendly, good food, and is now a very popular venue for getting WED. Well you've got plenty of choice to drown your sorrows!!!!!!!!!!!. This is a National Trust house but unlike most we can all get in free here

The Crown and Trumpet Inn, Broadway

Very nice local in Broadway Worcestershire in fact the only one now. All the rest are food places really. Has well kept beers including TT Landlord and some local ones. If you are visiting this is the best place for a drink, and the bar foods pretty good

The Brandy Cask, Pershore

his is the home of the Brandy Cask brewery and what a good pint it is. My own favourite is the Brandy Snapper. the landlord is one of the organisers of the very successful Worcester Beer Festival. If you're in Pershore then don't miss this one.It has a really nice beer garden which backs on to the Avon, and some great carp tanks.

The Bell Inn, Eckington

This has been turned into a GASTRO PUB so if it's wine and lager then this is the place for you. Don't expect much change when you buy a round

The Waggon and Horses, Halesowen

proper blackcountry pub(can i say that?). P***heads dream, great choice of beers, about a dozen with plenty of choice from all over the country, no no all THE country, and a characterful landlord.

The Winged Spur, Ullenhall

We visited this pub on 15/10/06 at lunch for the second time and was disappionted. There were tables by the bar with reserved signs on. It was obvious that these were being reserved for the locals, because all the others except one for two people were for diners only. I would'nt recommend calling if you want a seat and there are more than two of you.

The Port Of Call, Clifton

This hidden gem was well worth the effort we spent trying to find it. I also am a member of camra and whilst i commend them for all they've done fighting for the traditional values of the best pubs in the world, i must say that they have become a very pompous lot. they go around deciding on which pubs should be in their guide and, if the landlord is'nt favourable to them there's a fair chance the pub won't get recommended for the guide. At the end of the day it's the landlord not camra who decide on what they want their pub to be and the success or failure of the business will be down to them. Maybe if more of these so called "experts" put their money where their mouths are they might be a little more understanding. This is a great pub so go and pay it a visit.

The Bag O' Nails, Bristol

Can understand why it has been known as "The chapel of Rest" but, superb range of beers and really should be called an Ale house. However the last time i was there the draught lagers were pulled with no head on them, which does'nt help it's cause. This is a place for people to ponder!

The Bell, Bath

This is a great place to relax with a very cosmopolitan clientel. Get there on Sunday lunch early for a seat and listen to the music. the atmosphere's wonderful espcially if you're a people watcher. (i'm not)8 to 80 it's great
