For food AVOID - measly almost invisible chicken burger served with few chips. They got the other order wrong and it was a small portion for the price - even though we told them of an allergy to onions they put onions on the replacement food order!
For beer only it looked OK
Will find another pub next time for pre Islington Academy food & drink

Great bar staff - average prices for the area - can be a little dark on a summers day.

Large pub - cheap beer (although the cider is almost normal prices) - rock music - pool table - friendly bar staff - late license - friendly people.
Downsides - sometimes charge for entry and have unannounced theme nights (casino etc).

Great Thai food available here - reasonable pub - can hear yourself think, especiialy in the Canal Bar

Good little pub, normally some seats available, some real ales, crazy DJ - when he is there.

Good pub, friendly bar staff - tasty food. Looks like they mostly attract tourists.
Addlestones Cider on tap which was nice.

Rock/alterntive pub just down an alleyway off Northbrook Street.
Mostly populated by the young, sticky carpets and loud music.

Good old fashioned pub with local people in it, fairly smokey. Watch out for the rozzers in after their shift.
Great Bar Billiards Table, reasonable prices, tasty bar snacks.

Been twice recently - lovely pub, nice atmosphere
