The Princess Louise, Holborn

Indeed there is absolutely no need to be worried. As previously said, in order to do a proper job on a fantastic old pub like this, it does take time. Not only is the pub going to be repaired but it is also going to be returned to its state after the famous refurb which got it into the state which it is roughly in now. Unfortunately during roughly the 1960s some of the old partitions were destructively and unsympathetically removed. However these will be reinstated to make it a truly spectactular old pub, exactly as it was meant to be.

The Cittie of Yorke, Holborn

Great pub: amazing main bar with its vaulted ceiling so it has a fantastic atmosphere particularly when full. Beer is also extraordinarily good (I love the real ale from the wooden cask - how many places can you find that these days?!!) and what's more it's extremely good value. To be fair it's what we've come to expect from a quality, no-nonsense brewery like Samuel Smiths. Cheers for the Old Brewery Tadcaster!

The White Horse, Soho

great pub, nice relaxed atmosphere amongst hustle and bustle of soho. it's very sad that some people are fickle enough to believe that because something is not too expensive it's rubbish - that couldn't be less true with the white horse. fantastic beer, fantastic prices

The Chandos, Trafalgar Square

THIS IS ONE OF THE BEST PUBS YOU WILL FIND IN LONDON. The location (about 100 yards from Trafalgar Square) is fantastic; the fact that there is so much space is amazing (or when it's full it makes for a great atmosphere); the beer is top notch and far better than the stuff sold in every other pub in england (fosters, carling, stella and all that rubbish) and a pint is under 2!! What more could you want?

The Earl of Lonsdale, Notting Hill

The snugs in the Earl of Lonsdale are really rather special and they are original (they were ripped out in the 1960s but have only recently been put back in due to the careful attention to detail and high standards from Samuel Smiths). There are not that many pubs in this part of london with such character and certainly none where you can get a top quality pint of real ale for 1.78!

The Chandos, Trafalgar Square

anonymous, many pubs may have increased their prices significantly due to the increased alcohol duty but the price in the Chandos has only gone up by 2p (apart from alpine lager), the exact increase, or less than the increase in duty. That's one of the things which makes it such a great pub!

The Carpenters Arms, Windsor

Decent pub, but don't touch the Old Tom, it's absolutely lethal!

The Earl of Lonsdale, Notting Hill

Nice pub, with little snugs and drinks at great prices. You've got to try the Sovereign Best Bitter - it's such a nice drink. Nice to have a bit of character in a pub with the decor and to have quality beers. The only thing is with the beer being the cheapest in the area it does tend to draw in the lower end of the market - there are a few boozy old men and women on a night

The Cramond Inn, Cramond

Gary, if you want bog standard drinks go to a bog standard pub. It is really pathetic when people say that because none of the products are well known brands they aren't good - the consumer should be the judge of whether a product is good; you are a real sucker to the marketing men if you think that only well known brands which are heavily advertised can be good. All Sam Smiths pubs serve quality drinks and at decent prices and you have to be discerning as to what is a good drink.

The Crammond Inn is a great little pub which serves quality drinks and food at reasonable prices and it's in a great situation looking out onto the Firth of Forth
