The Canterbury Arms, Brixton

Avoid this pub unless you're a regular. Was in there recently and was given a mouthful by a local because I dared to stand near him whilst trying to get served. And the barstaff need to lighten up.

Plus, there is only one ladies loo.

Ps. I used to love going to this pub in the 90's when I lived in London and frequented Brixton academy regularly. I rather give my money to Wetherspoons.

The Ox, Castlefield

I've been in here twice recently. Once for Sunday lunch and once for a midweek drink.

The food was excellent. The best pub roast I've had in a long time. 12 for 2 courses but if the food is good then I dont mind paying. The staff on both occasions were polite and attentive. It's quite a dark pub but I like that.

The Crescent, Salford

This place looks massive from the outside, it isnt.

It was like going back in time. Its a PROPER pub!

Nice enough though

The New Oxford, Salford

First visit to this pub will definitely not be the last.

I have never seen so many beers/ales on offer!

It's a lovely clean pub. Service was good.

B Lounge @ The Bridge, Deansgate

This is very nice pub, comfy sofas etc. Except when the door opens it is freezing (nice doorman though!) Not cheap - over 8 for 2 small glasses of wine.

The Sawyers Arms, Deansgate

I was in this pub over the Xmas period, sat near the log fire having a pint and eating the homemade chips. It was snowing outside. Perfect afternoon in the pub. Very nice atmosphere in this pub. Big screens for the football too.

Jabez Clegg, Manchester

Popped in here out of the rain for a quick pint after a gig at the Academy. Lovely pub! Nice layout, friendly bouncers. (it reminded my of how the old Firkin pub chain used to be years ago).

First Class Sports Bar, Wembley

This a great place to start off if you are going to Wembley. The bar has got everything sorted.

The Lost Dene, Deansgate

Was in here when the Ashes was on, asked if they would be showing the football. Very helpful and polite bar staff. Said she was but wasnt sure which screen yet.

Showed the footie aswell as the cricket.

The food was ok. Not 10/10 but I'd give it 7/10.

The Hand In Hand, Brighton

This a lovely intimate pub. A must visit if you are visiting Brighton. But because it's small you might not get a seat.

The Railway Hotel, Brighton

Fab pub! I got asked for id and I'm in my 30's! Made my night.

Was in there on a Friday, nice busy, not too silly. Really nice atmosphere. Cheap too!

The Cobblers Thumb, Brighton

Despite living in Brighton for a few years I've never been in, until Friday.

It looks a bit ropey on the outside, but it's a lovely boozer inside. A proper pub.

The toilets leave something to be desired mind!

Stanmer Park, Brighton

This pub has really changed over the last year or so.

I've lived nearby for 2 years and when I moved in it had just been closed down. When it re-opened it had a really hostile atmosphere even though it was always dead!

Now, I think there are new people managing it. It;s a great local to watch the footie and a pint is cheap too!

The Black Lion, Brighton

probably one of my favourite pubs in Brighton. If you are walking past and blink you might miss it. The decor inside is modern (although the toilets were yuk!) and the feel is just right.

The Roundhill Tavern, Brighton

I've been in this pub a few times but only midweek.

The pub has got a nice feel to it, a range of customers and although it's got a pool table there wasnt any sense of trouble!

I like this pub

The Bat and Ball, Brighton

I've only ever walked past this pub - it scares me!!

The West Hill, Brighton

I spent a late saturday evening in this pub and it was great. Not too crowded, the staff were excellent even though we were rowdy having been on the lash all day.

Great pub for a late night drink at the weekend!

The Smugglers, Brighton

I was in here for a couple of drinks on Saturday afternoon. Nice chilled atmosphere. I would imagine its not the type of place I would normally frequent in the evening. However, the seats in the window are fab, having a beer watching everyone go past.

I liked this pub and would go back.

With a note about the previous comments, whats the problem with a stag party drinking in a pub. Lighten up!!!

The Providence, Hove

This pub tries its best. Yes it has got a new feel to it but at least they are trying to do something different to all the other chains.

The food is usually good and its a great pub to watch the footie in.

The Robin Hood, Brighton
