I came into the Kings and Queen the other day to use the toliet and stopped for quick drink, not a bad pub really, staff are friendly, restuarant clean and tidy and i love the selection of food they have on offer on there menu.

I'm a long distance traveller as i live in Hertfordshire and i dont live in this area, but i came down here by train to visit my girlfriend, i think i will pop into the Kings and Queen, next time i'm over and treat my girlfriend for lunch.

I will be back, see you soon..

The George and Dragon, Baldock

This use to be a cracking pub. But closed a few years ago due to violence breaking out on regular basics at weekends. The staff were a foreign friendly bunch and there were discos at weekend.

But it all change for the worst when violence broke out on regular basics and the police were regular called out.

The resident next door to the pub had enought and force the council to tell Greene King to closed the pub. No good when you live in a block of flats and fights breaking out right on your doorstep.

This was due to reopened as restaurant. But since the credit crunch nothing has materilies.

The Gardeners Arms, Biggleswade

The Gardener Arms is one of my favourite pubs i tend to visit in Biggleswade. Very lively family pub and it just recently had new tennant taken over as landowners.

They tend to serve great beer and also have some great entertainment on the odd weekends including Quiz nights on Sundays.

The Gardener Arms just recently join the Biggleswade Carnival where they came second.

This is a great pub to visit.

The Sunrunner, Hitchin

Centre would like to apolige to the landlord of the Sunrunner on a complaint based on gate crashing a party.

Soulrider inform me about funeral taken place on the day centre posted this comment. I for one did'nt see the sign on the door closed to the public and did'nt realise i was entering a private funeral.

This actually made me felt upset and was'nt really here to ofend anyone. Losing a mother is one of the harders thing.

Also having no respect to the disabled, i was going a step too far and i realise how much your staff goes out of there way to help others.

This performance at the Sunrunner has made me felt embrassed and would like apolige to all mourner who were at the private funeral.

My profile has now been updated and have unhidden my profile.

I would like to send my respect to the landlord and say how sorry i'am for the lost of his mother.

Hopfully this has talked me a lesson, never a gate crash private funeral,

Regards from Centre...

The Sunrunner, Hitchin

I gate crash a private party this evening. Only went into the sunrunner to use the toilets. Once was a lovely pub. But now own by an idolt who think he can bring in anyone he likes, even if it one of my friends who is not dress smart and look like an down and out.
Friendly staff, but the landlord is extremely rude. Won't be visiting again.

No respect for the disabled.

The Hopbine, Biggleswade

The Hopbine has never had a review on this page, so i thought i make mention and write review about this pub. Nice quiet back street pub in Biggleswade, just resently had changed of owners over last year and hopefully they are staying.
As the last owner who own the Hopbine never work in the pub and just employed mangers to run the place for the landlord. In which the landlord kept hiring and sacking tennants
Which he kept changing more than a light bulb. Anyway this pub has just resently started doing food and does Sunday Roast.
The beer is great which i heard from costumers and they also have entertainment including quiz nights and karaoke.
They just resently enter Biggleswade Carnival and won first price. Nice little pub.

The Gardeners Arms, Biggleswade

Please ignore last comment. This pub i went in on Saturday evening has a fruit machine and jukebox and the staff are friendly. They serve great beer even though i don't drink. I tend to drink soft drinks and they have a lovely sitting area outside for the smokers. They also have live bands and for though who think they don't have a fruit machine or Jukebox must blind. Lovely little pub.

The Yorkshire Grey, Biggleswade

A nice welcome family pub, with great food and entertainment at weekends. The staff are friendly and have been told from costumers the beer is great. even though i don't drink. I tend to drink soft drinks. Also by the way watchout for lovejoy and his driven suicide band. Had my ex girlfriend stolen from me. So guys if you take your girlfriends to the Yorkshire Grey in Biggleswade. Keep them under wing.
