The Barley Mow, Walsall

Don't bother going!

Its been converted into a mini housing estate

A travesty as this was a beautiful canal side pub

The Olde White Rose, Bilston

Went last night ... the pub is a shadow of its former self

Only 4 guest ales on last night, we had the abbott reserve which I must say was kept well

German and Belgian beer taps have now gone

A very loud disco was playing which seemed really out of place

There were very few patrons, seemed more huddling outside the front door smoking.

What a shame as I used to love this pub and previously rated it 9 on here

The Nottingham Arms, Tewkesbury

Very characterful building - one of the best in Tewkesbury.
Beer is a very average selection including doom bar, st austell tribute and butty bach.
They do have old rosie cider in a box on the bar.
The food is below average and expensive. I had gammon which was very thin. my daughter had thai fish cake which was still frozen in the middle - the pub offered no apology.
We were fairly regular at Nottingham Arms but will now go elsewhere.

The Crown Inn, Tewkesbury

visited this pub once with our dog and landlorf wouldnt let us in - bass was okay but disappointed as the pub looks good from the roadside.

The Village Inn, Twyning

nice pub, friendly publican, good beer - i was put off by less than friendly regulars especially those dart players that insisted on getting served even though i was at bar first shameful.

Swan Inn, Birlingham

Beers is good - i have Thornbridge Jaipur IPA - in excellent condition.
Food is bit more expensive - i guess thats what you get with such a superb location and a full of character pub.
Very friendly staff and I'm sure we will be going again.

The Olde White Rose, Bilston

The olde white rose is a permanent beer festival and they offer 10p a pint off for card carrying camra members.
They always have 12 different beers on.
Last night (Saturday night) I chose Brewdog Paradox and I only had half as it was a 10%er - in superb condition too. I then went for Palmers Tally Ho - another dark beer and that too was in excellent condition.
The missus had a half of Fullers Summer Ale was again in fine fettle.
I love this pub and can't wait to go again.

Waggon and Horses, Oldbury

Don't go on a Staurday night expecting food - they don't do evening meals on a Saturday night

The Thomas Botfield, Telford

The only real ale in the shopping centre a previous poster said - dont take the definition of real too seriously.
The beer here is always very mediocre and does not give a first time drinker a good impression - it would put me off real ale too.
The beer is always pulled through a tight sparkler so always tastes the same. The service is dreadful especially on a friday lunchtime.
If you have to drink cask beer in telford shopping centre then you get no choice but to come here but avoid if you can I say.
The food and coffee look good though :)

The Codsall Station, Codsall

Have been on a Friday lunchtime from work a few times now.
Drank Stairway to Heaven first time which was pure nectar - one of the best pints ive ever had and I know about beer being a long time life member of Camra.
Have been in a couple of times since and the beer and food and service have all been perfect. I love this pub - must be one of the best in the country.

Lower Lode, Forthampton

Dont go on a Saturday night without checking if there is a bikers rallyt or wedding on. You cant get near the place when either is happening and you may have to get food off the burger van parked on the car park.
