The Bear, Bradford on Avon

Middle range food at top quality prices- cheap uncomfortabe furniture - take a cushion to sit on if you plan to stay for more than 30 mins.

Not sure what has happened - it used to buzz not its empty and expensive. Has the smoking ban killed it?

The Lock Inn Cafe (Canal Side Cafe), Bradford on Avon

Now back in full flow - even better than before - go have a really good meal here. 3,000% better than the unwelcoming and expensive hovel opposite (canal tavern).

The Canal Tavern, Bradford on Avon

Though I would give this place ago again to see if it had improved any as it was one of my favourite stops along the Kennet and Avon Canal. Sadly, it has not. It is still unwelcoming and the beer prices are very expensive. It seems to have very little local trade left and has set its prices to rip of the barge and torist trade. There are plent of other good pubs along the canal, suggest you try these.

Fantastic food and plasant service. So glad we crossed the tow path from the disorganisation and poor welcome of the Canal Tavern next door. Well done Dick and Jane! Lovely
