Odd House, Grantham

This once fine little pub is now closed. It was recently sold for 120k and I believe it is going to be turned into offices.

The Bavarian Beerhouse, Shoreditch

What a disappointment. My local sainsburys has a better choice of bavarian beer than this place. If anyone wants to drink German beer in London, don't waste your money in this busty wenches theme park, go to Zeitgeist (the jolly gardeners) in vauxhall.

The Lord Harrowby, Grantham

Excellent pub, a real fire and a decent selection of Ales. The Oldershaws Alchamy was superb last night.

The Lord Harrowby, Grantham

The pub has recently changed hands and on paper should only get better. Good luck to John and Linda.

The Prince Albert, Camden

I popped in just before xmas. A decent range of ale's were available and the service was good. The interior is nice and clean.

The Jolly Gardeners, Vauxhall

An excellent pub. Top marks for the beer and food.

Tollemache Inn, Grantham

Still serves an excellent range of ales and decent ciders. All in excellent condition. Friendly pleasent bar staff. The interior could do with a good clean and a lick of paint though.

Mabel's Tavern, Euston

Nice backstreet boozer which is handy for Kings Cross station. The Bishops Finger is the pick of the ales.

Bunker, Covent Garden

I went to visit last week and the premisis are now a (sh)Italian resturant.

The Lord Moon Of The Mall, Whitehall

I'm a regular visitor to jdw outlets. This one considering its proximity to tourist haunts could do a consideribly better. I was in their today prior to lunch time. The place is dirty. As for the gents toilet, one trap had a smashed lock and the rest of the toilet area was filthy. On a bright note it is selling a very good range of ales.

Blue Pig Inn, Grantham

Again this pub could do better, a recent visit found one of the beers had turned to vinegar. This seems to be a regular occurance at this pub. If you visit, drink the cheddar valley cider.

The Thorold Arms, Harmston

Another visit to this excellent establishment. The beer festival was top, all nice hoppy beers, no malty kak. The food was top notch.

The Thorold Arms, Harmston

An absolute top establishment with the beer in excellent condition. A welcome break after getting 3rd degree sunburn at Waddington Airshow.

The Gladstone Arms, Peterborough

Closed years ago. The last time I ventured down that awful part of town it was a Portugese club.

The Jolly Gardeners, Vauxhall

An excellent pub, good range of German beers and nice food. A visit to this establishment is a must. German football on the TV so you can watch Hun Vs Hun. Looking forward to my next visit!

Barge and Bottle, Sleaford

Beer quality usually varies, ranging from tip-top to sarsons. Far too many beers available. I'm sure if they reduced their range the quality would improve. Cask Marque????? my arse! The food is excellent and the pub is fairly clean.

Goose At The Bank, Grantham

Usually one cask beer available. This pub seems to attract the local mongs and low-life. Tracksuits are a must!

Mabel's Tavern, Euston

A nice pub just off Euston Road. The beer is always in good condition. Bishops Finger and Porter are Sheps best brews, shame they dont produce Porter all year round! Very friendly bar staff.

The Baby Betjeman, Kings Cross

Wonderful little pub and not overpriced for the area. Patio heaters on the station concorse are a little over the top, not very eco-friendly! The Sharps is usually in wonderful condition. Also, a recent addition is Verdutt Blanche, a belgian wheat beer.

Tollemache Inn, Grantham

An excellent range of beers available. Usually some from Oldershaws and Brewsters which are brewed in town. Friendly bar staff. A great place to drink and only 5 mins walk from the railway station.

The Packhorse Inn, Sleaford

The decent beer selection has been significantly reduced, usually only one guest type beer available. Lots of national brand kack though.
