Open till late, and full of teenagers. Depends what you're looking for really, but not the best place to go for a quiet pint.

The Sugar Loaf Inn, Little Chalfont

EXCELLENT FOOD!! The new head chef, Mike, has got an amazing new menu lined up. Used to be a right dump a few years back but has now been transformed by the new owners.
It's a bit overpriced, but worth it for the great atmosphere.

Great food. Open late on weekends, gets quite busy.

A good place for a few pints with mates, but not the best place to take a date. Pool table in the garden.

The Land of Liberty, Peace and Plenty, Heronsgate

I've heard good things about this pub, but have yet to try it. Does anyone know if it's true that this place has the longest pub name in Britain?

The Pennsylvanian, Rickmansworth

As with a lot of the Weatherspoons pubs, the Penny has a great selection of real ales. Most of the staff are quite friendly and the food is everything you'd expect from Weatherspoons.

The Fox and Hounds, Rickmansworth

An excellent pub with a cozy atmosphere and friendly staff and regulars. A great place to watch the footie and have a game of darts (or pool) with friends, and the Newcastle Brown is only �2.20 a bottle! The comedy nights are hilarious and the music nights are superb. Real ales: Courage Best and London Pride, and the guest ale at the moment is 6X.

Ivy House, Chalfont St Giles

EXCELLENT!! Has a great selection of real ales, which are constantly changing so you get to try a different one each time you come in. Wonderful staff, superb cuisine, and great atmosphere. This pub definately lives up to it's reputation in the area as being one of the best pubs in Britain.

p.s. - also has the cleanest cellar I've ever seen!!
