The Stoke Inn, Stoke on Trent

much improved by new owners (Nov/Dec 2007)
A credit to them!
But my gut feel is that they have an uphill struggle in it's locale.
I sincerely hope I'm wrong.......

Stoke Inn, Stoke

much improved by new management/owners.December 2007.
A credit to them for trying, but think they have an uphill battle where it is!
now reverts to old name of The Albert.

great pub,-in the afternoons -when you can get served!! Friday and Saturday queues are five-6 deep and
takes about 20 mins. for service!!
good choice of drinks...when you can get to them.
pity they don't take on more staff at these busy times.

a dirty hovel!
Rough as a donkeys butt...

wide range of well kept ales. always something new to try.
Atmosphere is welcoming and the bar staff know their jobs well, and there are enough of them, no waiting long here!

The Newpenny, Fenton

great Karaoke nights...busy pub!

21 Apr 2006 13:40

The Plough, Stoke on Trent

this is not a pub in the truest sense..it is a small
motel which serves nice food, but just happens to have a bar and pool table. Caters for young people who cannot hold their ale.

21 Apr 2006 13:32

The Quiet Woman, Leek

great ambience, FRESH food,
out-of the ordinary surroundings.
all in all well worth the visit

The Earl Grey Inn, Leek

This pub needs gutting. Could Cyril, who gave it a 10/10 rating turn out to be the landlord.....I ask
myself...?
Talk about run-down...?
Definitely one to give a miss!
