Nice bar and quite trendy, good drinks offers sometimes, another of my regular haunts. P.S the strip club next door ain't bad either, would recommend.

Good bar, but too many kids. Nice and cheap though, will visit from time to time.

No where near the same league as the Telegraph, but not many pubs are.

Good pub well worth a visit, and fat old John is barred now, so theres relief all round. Used to spend many hours proping up this bar, don't have as much time on my hands now, shame.

Good pub, used to drink here with my dad, and the people were always friendly. Good Landlord as well. Would recommend.

The Glittering Star, Darlington
Cheap and friendly. I always call in on my way to the train station after a visit to the parents and often end up missing a couple of trains back to Newcastle. It's no glittering star, but I could think of alot of other pubs that are a lot worse, and come on 3 pints for less than a fiver! Not bad beer either.

A dump of a pub full of scumbags its only good point is that its cheap but that accounts for them not being able to keep there beer properly

Chaep beer monday - Thursday, all draft �1.50. The only good thing about this pub.

This used to be my local, I spent many years stumbling home from this pub in the dark as a youngster. Would highly recommend to any real ale lovers 10/10.

Enjoyable visit, good staff (They put the Horse Racing on for me). Will visit again when im in Clapham.

Nice pub, very traditional. Do visit once in a while.
