The Foresters, Horley

May have changed hands. Unfriendly, unhelpful, poor food. Cheap. Used to be really nice pub. Shame.

The Greyhound, Charlwood

The food is good value, but that is about all it has going for it. Not particularly friendly, and twice when I've visited I've been served lager at room temperature.

Great pub. Light, airy, very friendly. Excellent food. Highly recommended.

The Half Moon, Charlwood

Visited today for the first time, for Sunday lunch. Very impressive. Freshly cooked food at average pub prices, friendly and attentive service, and my meal was delicious, although, as with so many pubs/restaurants these days, there was TOO MUCH! We have become Americanised in our portions. Was asked 5 times if everything was OK, which is slightly overdoing it and I could have done without the piped (early nineties) pop music, but overall, a very pleasant experience.

The Gatwick, Horley

Been to a couple of quiz nights here. Beer is not the cheapest in Horley, but it was s pleasant enough experience. Ventured in once at lunchtime to find one customer and the place stank of bleach.

The Foresters, Horley

Terrific pub. Beer is reasonably priced, the food is really good value (try the all day breakfast; its huge), the staff are friendly and efficient. All in all a great little pub.

The Oxted Inn, Oxted

Pretty much your typical Spoons. Service is generally quite slow and the place could do with a good clean. Being next to Morrison's parking is never a problem.
