The Bull Inn, Battle

Had a few pints in here the other day and I must say I enjoyed it, the owners have had a good tidy up. The beer selection maybe a little limited but tasted fine and although I didn't eat the portions and quality of the food great. Worth a visit.

The Chequers Inn, Battle

It's sad to see but I'm afraid this place has gone downhill, visible signs that this place is struggling and on my last visit they had run out of beer!!!! A pub with no beer? Also the place smells like a wet dog.

The White Dog, Ewhurst Green

I've been using this pub a lot over the last few months, the location is fantastic with views of Bodiam castle from the back garden. The beer is good with a wide choice of bitters from local brewery's and the food is also very good. I would highly recommend.

Cross Inn, Staplecross

After the last persons comment I walked in expecting people with pitch forks but to my surprise a cracking little pub in the heart of the countryside.
A great choice of real ales on tap and I found the characters friendly and polite.
Good old fashion BOOZER just how a pub should be. Here here to the great British boozer.

The Cartoonist, Holborn

Haven't been to this pub for a long time, but as i was passing last weekand i couldn't help but notice that the old place had under gone a bit of a face lift.
Nipped in for a beer and couldn't belive the change, the landlord was very freindly and extremely helpful, the bar was clean and tidy and the pint of Harveys was very good indeed. i would recommend this pub to anybody who is passing. keep up the good work.
