The Red Lion, Chobham

Pub is wicked - great food and great live bands - check out Rhedd especially, playign there 8th and 24th August. Been refurbished and new landlord and landlady are lovely. Relaxed surrounding, good garden area too and adequate parking.

The Dukes Head, Leatherhead

I don't know what experiences some people on here have had, but this is the only lively place to be in Leatherhead - Spoons is too quiet - no music or atmnosphere. Management works hard to make sure there's good basic burgers, great live music ("Rhedd" were especially good band but i haven't seen them there for a while, but you do get some bad bands down here cos obviously they're paid pub prices for playing, so u get what u pay for), good solid salt of the earth people. My mate Weston is a regular and if there's any trouble he'll sort people out. lol Love the pub. leatherhead's finest!

The Plough Inn, Horsell

You have live music? Have "Rhedd" ever played there cos you're right on my doorstep - I moved to Goldsworth Park in March and saw them at O'Neills - they were brilliant. Must visit for food - mixed reviews on here, but the pub looks good from the outside and seems to be good honest English grub. Excellent.

O'Neills, Woking

Love this pub. Kate was a good landlady, but Elaine is just as good - she rocks. Speaking of which, love the live music down there - it does vary, but it's mostly rock covers and it's good when bands like "Rhedd" are down there cos they do something for everyone from pop to rock and do it brilliantly - really loud and passionately. "From The Ashes" are another good band down there, rock covers and modern stuff like Arctics, Foo Fighters, Muse is best by "Juice" - they always have quality bands. Food is good value and fairly quick, quite a few of the bar staff (hello Wilkey) are incredibly friendly and it's one of the only places in Woking where you can keep the chav scum troublemakers out, thanks to the lovely bouncers. Not that sport is my thing really, but it's great for sport too with big screens. live bands are usually 10.30-1am, so it doesn't interfere with the sports. I wouldn't go out in Woking anywhere else!

The Kings Arms, Dorking

Bring back RHEDD - that band that played on a Sunday! They played a couple of Sundays a couple of years ago and we've never seen them there since. Wicked singer and guitarist and great covers from modern to old rock classics. great fun. Packed with a great atmosphere on a live music night - you can't beat it. Best pub in Dorking!
