Like a Whetherspoons, so average. There's a Whetherspoons over the road from it; cheaper and just as bad; so go there!
Wallington is awful as a venue to go out. Walk half a mile to the nicer Carshalton.

This place has now priced itself out of my willingness to pay league. I don't mind paying slightly over the odds if the venue is nice, but the Greyhound is taking the piss now.

Got drunk and ended up in there a week or so ago (sat night).
The place stank of sick/dead bodies.
A staff member opended the cellar door and the stench intensified to a level that turned my beer-filled stomach.
This place is filthy and a health hazard. I will not visit again.

The Coach and Horses, Carshalton
A real pub. I guess it's a free house from the beer sold and the decor!
Great staff/service and a friendly place from my experience. I'm new to the area and had mates with me from Leeds and we were all welcomed, with no fuss.
It was busy but the service was almost instant, and with a smile. Cheap, too, when compared with the Greyhound (anywhere is, though).
Quirky place, but better than your generic, dull pub.

The only pub in Carshalton that I have been in that has bouncers......
Was packed and for some reason the heating was blasting out, so was boiling.
Nothing bad to say about it, really. Only stayed for one as it was too hot and busy. Won't rush back.

Very nice.
Didn't eat there, but the place has been done up to really high standard and has a good selection of beers on offer.
The menu looks good and food/drinks prices make the nearby Greyhound look shameful in comparison.

Ok to get tanked up with a mate, but not a place to take your Mrs unless you hate her!

A nice venue, but very expensive both to drink and eat.
The wine prices are frankly ludicrous; beer just acceptable.
Food.......................
Awful.
My wife and I went there on a Monday evening, so it was quiet. We ordered the seafood pie @ �11 and the steak burger @�11.
The seafood pie had NO seafood in it, just a dash of salmon and it came with a slice of carrot and a tiny bit of cauliflower - both bit had been ruined in a microwave, and the pie had been nuked too. �11 for salty mash?
The burger was cremated. It was charred and had been burned so badly I had to remove 30% of it to make it edible. They even tried to hide the worst side by smothering it with sauce, but it was so bad you could smell it before it was served.
It took 35 mins to reach us and wasn't worth �5, never mind the �22 they charged. They refunded half of the money after our complaints.
Don't eat here - it's awful and far worse than the cheapo Fox and Hounds 5 mins away that do a meal and pint for �6.
I'll never eat there again and advise others to skip it.

My 1st and last visit to the Millstream I'm afraid.
I have to agree with the majority of the comments made about how poor this place is, and not the +ive ones that are probably from staff members!
Drinks are on a par with Central London prices - much higher than the local average, and the food is very expensive too. Alas, the food's quality is way below its pricing and is microwaved rubbish. I had a prawn starter - �6 for 5 watery, pre-frozen bits of seafood and some limp lettuce isn't good.
A big place deviod of anything going for it. I won't be going back.

The Sun, Carshalton
Had a meal in there on Sunday with my family. Really, really good food, great quality and service. The Sun blows the Greyhound's microwaved, overpriced slop out of the water.
�110 for 4 very nice starters, 4 mains, 2 puddings and 2 bottles of wine. Fantastic value.
