great little pub on my outing through this area, nice garden and a bit of wit working here always makes it worth another pint.

A return visit for me, not much has changed but nice beer once again, friendly staff once again and great food.

Have to say i was a bit dissapointed here after reading the rave reviews about how friendly it was. I was at the bar 3 or 4 minutes before anyone noticed I was there, then it seemed I was an inconvenient addition to the schedule, cant understand that as i was the only paying customer, a staff meeting was going on in one corner which maybe i disturbed (sorry about that)When i asked for a menu again it seemed inconvenient and was the only other reason i needed to get out, shame as the beer was quite nice but the other pubs in this village leave this one way adfrift in friendliness terms

I enjoyed a beer or 2 in this quaint little pub whilst working just around the corner, great beer and nice to see a good guest beer, cant remember the name but the landlord had a pint so it was good enough for me to try it, friendly staff and although i didnt eat here it looks like theres not much they dont have on the menu. Matt the barman was a character but his head must be sore by now hitting the low beams that often and Coupled with my other experiences in this village that seems to sleep a lot will make sure I return.

I just had a week working in this snoozy little village and heard about this steak house pub from a mate so had to give it a go, Its one of the best meals ive had (including the many restaurants ive used) coupled with a great pint of beer (more choices needed) and they seem to actually care what your getting to eat. Beer is a little pricey and the steaks up there too but a worthy contender for value for money. Plenty of characters in this place, landlord makes you feel welcome, beer is good, locals are friendly and the food is amazing all of which will guarantee I bring the wife one day.
