The Pig and Fiddle, Bath

This pub had some interesting beers to sample, 6 in total, and they appeared well kept but it was quite cramped seating in certain areas. I'm sure it's much nicer in the summer when one can sit outside but it didn't grab us enough to make us want to stay and try the food.

The Old Green Tree, Bath

Called in here for a quick pint of real ale whilst visiting Bath. Really oldy worldy pub with good real ale in top condition and fantastic service.

The Bull Inn, Chichester

Located opposite the market car park at Eastgate, airy and friendly city local selling up to seven beers, mostly from local microbreweries. Good ales at reasonable prices. Possibly best beer in Chichester. Knowledgeable staff.

Dolphin & Anchor, Chichester

Its in town, busy, reasonably comfortable and serves well kept real ale, and I know, it's a Wetherspoons?!?

I sampled Dark Star Revelation, new to me. The menu has a good range of simple foods at low prices. Late afternoon and there are people of all age groups. Im in a window seat with a view of the Cathedral... quite pleasant.

The Stag's Head, Wellesbourne

What a lovely black and white traditional friendly pub just off the main street, with flagstone flooring and a community atmosphere. A total of seven handpulls, with Fullers London Pride, Greene King IPA and Shepherd Neame Spitfire on offer. Good ales at reasonable prices. Although we didn't eat here, the food we saw being consumed by others looked good. If we are in the area again another time we'd make time to sample more.

The Charlton Arms, Ludlow

It's OK, but found bar bland and a bit sterile. Beer was reasonable but nothing that special. Lovely location however by the river.

The Three Tuns, Bishops Castle

Impressive. Great ale from adjoining brewery. Especially liked the XXX. Food was excellent and prices reasonable. Bar staff could be a little more hospitable though.
